The children will have a prayer each week, a copy of which will be wrapped round the candle on the altar, so at the start of Lent we only have one candle on the altar. We then gradually build up light towards Easter. We hope these simple visuals will help you in Lent.
I encourage you to enter into the season of Lent with a generous heart, allow God to lead you into the wilderness a little so as to be able to respond to his love. Please remember to pray for Simon, preparing for baptism; and for Clara, Callum, Anya and Rachel who are preparing to enter into Full Communion with the Catholic Church at Easter this year.
"Please remember to pray for those preparing to enter into full communion with the Catholic Church at Easter."
