Sacrament of Confirmation
In the whole Diocese of East Anglia the Bishop welcomes young people for confirmation when they are in Year 9 or above at school. In St Edmund's Parish we follow that guideline and invite young people to attend a preparation course from Autumn onwards. The exact date of the confirmation varies, according to the Bishop's diary, but is usually sometime during the summer term. The preparation programme is 10 sessions and all candidates must attend all sessions, sessions are in the parish centre. Details will be given in the weekly parish newsletter.
Adults who wish to be confirmed should speak with one of the clergy, or email the parish office.
